Happy New Year, Team!
I’m Meg, your SVP of Human Resources. There’s a lot to look forward to in 2024. New community events to plan, new residents to meet, and new tools to help you develop your career (which you can learn more about here). Leer en Español.
As excited as I am for the new year, it’s also important to look at where we’ve been, celebrate our successes, and use them to motivate us in 2024. That’s what January’s Atria Rewards celebrations were all about, so I hope you left the event feeling energized and proud of your team.
Together as a company, we also accomplished a lot last year, and our 2023 Achievement Report shares the highlights, along with resident spotlights, employee growth stories, and messages from Atria leadership, including CEO John Moore and myself.
We’re so proud of everything you do to help residents live their best lives, and this is one way we’re sharing that pride. Please take some time to read through it. You may see some familiar faces.
When you’re done reading the Achievement Report, return to this newsletter. It includes a link your dependents can use to apply for the Ronnie Boatman Scholarship, important reminders about Atria University and the employee referral bonus, and a chance to win coffee for you and a coworker.
Here’s to a great year!

SVP, Human Resources

Develop Your Career with Atria University
The first promise in the Employee Value Proposition is “We Develop Our Employees.” Helping people grow is key to our success, which is why Atria University is such a valuable tool.
We use it to schedule 1 on 1 meetings with your supervisor, complete required training, and document performance conversations, but it’s a tool for your personal and professional development, too.
Work with your supervisor and browse Atria U to find courses that fit your career goals. You can enroll in hundreds of optional courses and complete them outside of work hours.
Try Small Acts of Kindness: Create Energy Around You. Our work is all about collaboration, and this optional 4-minute course demonstrates how one simple gesture can brighten everyone around you.

Refer Your Friends
Do you know someone who would thrive working at your community (or any Atria community)? Refer them for an open position! All your friend has to do is share your name when they apply. If hired, you’ll be eligible for an employee referral reward.
Visit the Atria Careers site and speak with your supervisor to learn about open positions they may be great for, then share a Careers story to get them excited about working at Atria. Click here to browse employee growth stories.
Coffee From Meg
Did you know there’s a LinkedIn page for every Atria brand? You can enter to win free coffee for you and a coworker just by updating your employer on LinkedIn. Once you’ve updated your employer to your Atria brand, email a screenshot to [email protected]. If you’re unsure which brand to select, ask your supervisor for help.
If you don’t have a LinkedIn account, now’s a perfect time to create a professional page and connect with other Atria employees. You can check out every brand page below.
